I just love how Dawne has used a white on white concept for her pretty butterflies and polka dots. I love that just like her title, her one single butterfly is unique and has a different pattern on it than the rest. Gorgeous card Dawne!

My name is Pearl and I'm a SAHM to 2 wonderful children, living in Sunny Singapore. I first started scrapbooking after my wedding in 1993 , without using any acid free products. There were very few acid free products available then here . Needless to say, that album is now yellow with age ! After the birth of our daughter in 1995, I started cardmaking via punchart and acquired the tools , punches and papers in the hopes that they would be useful for my kids at the right age. Well, I'm still the main user of all that product and tools! From 2006, onwards ,there was such a shift in products available in the papercraft industry and I started using more scrapbooking products in my cardmaking. Magazines and on-line galleries were full of inspiration, so by October 2006 I started scrapbooking again and have never looked back since.

I love how Pearl really played up all the different squares on her page. She's made each square and unique. I love all the vibrant colours she's used to capture your eye! Wonderful page Pearl!

So Sketchy Sista Call for 2009!

It's that time of the year again when I hunt down a new design team for another 6 months. Yup! It's time for some fresh creative faces.

I'm looking for:
6 page designers
3 card designers

Requirements:
- create a minimum of 2-3 creations per month using the sketches provided using any product of your choosing
- promote my sketches through your blog; yes, you must have a blog
- must commit to a 6 month term

Compensation:
At this time I am unable to compensate you with any product or money but occasionally we do have sponsors and you will receive goodies to work with from our generous sponsors.

How to Apply:
Please provide me with the following information:
- Your full name, address, email address
- Indicate what size you prefer to scrap: 12x12, 8.5x11 or cards OR any combination of the 3 is fine too.
- A link to your blog
- A link to a minimum of one gallery that you submit to on regular basis. Please provide your username.
- A list of any design teams or manufacturers you may belong to.
- 3 pages or cards that best displays your scrapping style . Files under 150k please.
- You may apply for both a cards position or a page position but I must receive TWO different applications.. one for each position.
- A little intro telling me why you would like to be a part of the So Sketchy Sistas.

Your position will begin on June 15th and will end on December 31st. The announcement of the new team will go up at the end of June.
