I would like to introduce you to all the lovely ladies who will be joining me here for the next 6 months.

Introducing all my So Sketchy Sistas....

My 6 So Sketchy Page Sistas....

Abbie Torroll

Abbie's blog: A Work of Heart

Hi! My name is Abbie Torroll. I am a proud Air Force wife and the mother of two adorable boys.
I am originally from Denver, CO, but we are currently living in Panama City, Florida. Other than scrapbooking, I enjoy photography, hanging out with my cute little family, running, and being outdoors. I started scrapbooking when I was in Junior High School. I immediately fell in love with everything about scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is my attempt to hold on to time, which goes by WAY too fast once you have kids. Everyday life is filled with so many little moments that I try hard not to forget. For me, there is nothing like winding down from a long day by scrapbooking. I also love the feeling of creating something beautiful with my own hands while having some "me" time in the process. Every single day I do something scrappy whether it be take and edit pictures, jot down sketch ideas, scour my favorite websites, or actually create a page! I'm obsessed:) I am truly so happy to be designing for So Sketchy! Ally's sketches are SO beautiful and inspiring and I am just thrilled to be apart of her blog!!

Cherie Nymeyer

Cherie's Blog: Cherie Ink.

Hi! My name is Cherie Nymeyer. I live in Cambridge, Ontario with my hubby. I've been scrapping since 2003 and am lucky to live my passion working at my LSS and designing for a few different places. I enjoy scrapping 12x12 pages and making cards for my friends and loved ones. I am a self-proclaimed stamp-a-holic and I try and incorporate a stamp into every design. Sketches are a fantastic way to get inspired to create and I love to see how unique each page ends up even though the starting point is the same! Happy Scrapping!

Jana Patterson

Jana's Blog: Just Jana

Hey y’all! My name is Jana Patterson and I am so excited to be a picked as a part of the So Sketchy Team!!! I am 35 years old and I have been married to my soulmate, Steve, for 8 years. Currently, we live in Waterford, Michigan, USA. By day, I am an automotive engineer, designing fluid lines for Ford vehicles. By night, I let my creative side out and scrapbook like crazy! We have one daughter, Annde, who is my constant inspiration. I have been scrapbooking for over 12 years. While I dabble in digital and hybrid, I just love to get my hands dirty with the traditional supplies. You will find that I scrapbook more than just events and occasions as I love to scrapbook who we are and what we do, feel, say… I have been following Ally’s sketches for awhile and I know that we can inspire each other through them. Thank you for this opportunity!

Julie Gagnon

Julie's Blog: Days Go By...

Hi all, I'm Julie Gagnon, I live in Clarence Creek, Ontario with my husband of 13 years and our four legged furry son, Braxxon. I work full time for a big telecommunications company in Ottawa and scrapping and volleyball are my two favorite things!!!!! I've been scrapbooking for a little over five years and it just keeps getting better and better as time goes on!!
My "style" of scrapping is constantly changing and I've gone from very busy layouts, to distressed/inked layouts, to clean and simple layouts and back...a few times! That's the fun of this wonderful hobby!!! When I'm finished a layout: a complete feeling of satisfaction, awe, joy, and whatever other good feeling I can fit in there comes over me and it just feels right no matter what!! I'm super excited to be designing for So Sketchy - what a fantastic opportunity!!!

Nicole Nowosad

Nicole's Blog: Just Nick

My name is Nicole Nowosad. I lam 35 years old, and live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with my husband Ian, and our 2 busy boys Noah and Lucas, with baby #3 on the way in March 2009. My boys are the main topics of my pages, and I believe that even boy pages can be pink! I started scrapbooking in 1999, but didn't get really serious about it until 2002 when our first son was born. I like to try all different things on my pages, but the one consistent is stitching. I always seek out new inspiration in art, advertising and especially sketches. I look forward to being a So Sketchy Sista and sharing my pages with all of you!

Tonya Boone

Tonya's Blog: My Crazy Life

I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years now. By the book my style is Shabby, I really wish it was. I have a blog where you can find my layouts and more things about me and my family http://tonyaboone.blogspot.com/. I feel so honored to be a So Sketchy Sista. I have used Allison's sketches in the past and find them so helpful when I am low on ideas.

My 3 So Sketchy Card Sistas....

Dawne Ivey

Dawne's Blog: A Day in My Blog

Hi, my name is Dawne, spelled with an “e,” & I am honored & thrilled to be selected as a Card designer for So Sketchy. I am a US resident, living in sunny Florida & wouldn’t live anywhere else, unless it was Hawaii!! I started scrapbooking in 1998, when I visited my sister in Kansas. I flew home with a suitcase full of scrapbooking supplies & thus began the obsession. This is a hobby that I love & find myself continuously evolving in my own style. I didn’t start making cards until 2006 & have thoroughly enjoyed making them for friends & family. I used to be a very meticulous, clean-line scrapper, liking straight lines, typed journaling & a clean look, but my style has evolved dramatically over the past two-years. I love to scrap all sizes of layouts, look at things not for what they are, but for what I can make with them & my “must have” tools would be my ruler, cutter, a needle & thread. My main subjects have always been my family of one wonderful husband & 2 beautiful daughters, plus 3 dogs & 1 cat.

Leah Cornelius

Leah's Blog: Paper Blossoms

I am a stay at home mom to two amazing blessings and have been married 9 years to my wonderfully supportive husband. Ever since I was a little girl I've had a love affair with paper, glue and scissors and when I discovered this wonderful hobby of papercrafting I was hooked for good! I have been crafting for about 3 years now and love it more than ever. I love creating beautiful projects and especially seeing what my hands and heart have made make someone else happy.

Melanie Muenchinger

Melanie's Blog: Hands, Head and Heart

My name is Melanie Muenchinger and I live to stamp in Austin, Texas! I am an Illustrator for Gina K Designs and a Senior Design Team member for Gina K and Papercraft Planet, and very excited to now be a Sista! I Before designing my own stamps, I was an Stampin’ Up! Demo and a designer for the Original Splitcoast Dirty Dozen Team. I love teaching people to use my stamps on my blog “Hands, Head and Heart”, please come check me out! Thank you Allison for this opportunity to create with your sketches!

And a So Sketchy SURPRISE!!!

I have asked a few of senior So Sketchy Sistas to remain on as part of our So Sketchy Senior Sista Team!

Kristii Lockart

Kristii's Blog: Honestly Speaking

Hi everyone!! My name is Kristii Lockart and I am so excited to continue on as a designer for the So Sketchy Blog!! I have been scrapping for over seven years now, and I absolutely love this craft, the people, and all that is associated with the scrapbooking industry. I am very blessed to be on the Little Red Scrapbook Design Team, the Color Me Daisy Design Team, the Scrapping the Music Design Team and I also teach at my local Scrapbook Store, Keepsakes by Design. I have been married to my best friend, Ed, for nearly 25 years and we have 3 amazing children, Bethany (Matt), Heidi and Benjamin. I work at our local high school library in the mornings and I teach three learning lab classes in the afternoon. I am very blessed to have a family, a job and a craft that I love so much! Life is wonderful!

Wendy Sommers

Wendy's Blog: Everyday Moments

I am so excited to be designing for So Sketchy! My name is Wendy Sommers. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with my wonderful husband Joe and our 2 children, Brendan and Olivia. My family is my source of inspiration for most of my pages. I have been scrapbooking since 2003 and have been hooked ever since! I am more of an "everyday moments" scrapper than an events scrapper. A large portion of scrapbooking for me is finding inspiration around me in my life - and that often involves great sketches! I look forward to sharing my creations with all of you.

Congrats ladies! I'm sure the So Sketchy readers can't wait to see all your creations!
