Meet the New So Sketchy Sistas!

I would like to introduce you to all the lovely ladies who will be joining me here for the next 6 months.

Introducing all my So Sketchy Sistas....

My 6 So Sketchy Page Sistas....

Aphra Boyler

Aphra's Blog: My Scrappy Life

Hi, my name is Aphra Bolyer, proud scrapper of two active boys--Jonathan (8) and Ethan (2). When I'm not chasing my toddler down from the tallest furniture in the house or chauffeuring my eldest back and forth to the ball park, I'm in my scrapbook room for a little craft therapy. I practically sleep in there while my husband Jeff is gone for 3 ½ weeks working in Alaska. But when he finally comes home to Central Louisiana, I scrape off the ink and glue and hang out with my three favorite guys.

I am very excited to be a So Sketchy Sista! It’s an honor to walk in the footsteps of the talented retired Sistas, many of whom I’ve admired for some time. I look forward to inspiring and being inspired. Thanks, Ally, for this amazing opportunity!

Jennifer Benoit

Jen's Blog: Life the Jen Way

Hi! My name is Jennifer Benoit; Jen, if you please. I currently live in Listowel, ON. I became interested in scrapbooking in October 2007, after failing to find the perfect baby book. In November 2008 I completed my first layout. It was horrible; but the love affair had started. My spunky two-year old son is the subject of most of my layouts. He's also the only one who doesn't complain about having the camera in his face every day. At least not yet. Maybe I'll finally get around to making that baby book when he stops letting me take his picture.

Frances Sylvia

Frances' Blog: Forever and a Year

Helllooo So Sketchy! My name is Frances Sylvia and I am from Natchitoches, Louisiana, the small, Southern town where Steel Magnolias was filmed. By day, I am a Junior High English teacher, and by night, I am a lucky wife of 9 years, mother of 4, and a totally addicted scrapbooker. Though my greatest inspiration comes from my family and friends in the photos, I usually begin a layout by searching for inspiration via the internet. That usually means finding a cool sketch, a new, interesting challenge, or a handmade technique to incorporate into my layout. I truly believe that I do not have a set style, yet there are some elements I can not leave off a layout these days, such as, hand or machine stitching, buttons, doodling, distressing, and layering. Since my time is mostly devoted to being a wife and mother, I believe that scrapbooking should be FUN!! I like to think that I am a funny “sista” and my sense of humor usually ends up spilling over on to my layouts. I have been following So Sketchy for a while now and I am super excited to be a So Sketchy Sista…thanks Ally!

Jennifer Stevens

Jenn's Blog: Creative Chaos

Hi all! My name is Jenn Stevens and I live with my husband and boys in NE Montana. You will probably see a lot of my two boys as they are the main source of my inspiration. They provide me with lots of funny stories and memories to record. I am so very excited to be a So Sketchy Sista and I hope that I can inspire you during my time here!

Zoe Nemburt

Zoe's Blog: {create}

Hi there, My name is Zoe and I live in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, with my husband of 7 years and our 3 children Yasmin 6, Aydin 5, and Ceyda 2, I work for Canada Post by day as a casual letter carrier and scrap obsessively on my days off and evenings, My husband just graduated as a Carpenter and he also volunteers for the local Fire Department.

I've always enjoyed playing with paper and have dabbled in scrapbooking for many years however in February of 2008 I got bitten by the scrapping bug and have never looked back, I am now proud to call myself a scrap-a-holic.

I have been a fan of So Sketchy since the beginning and am honoured to now call myself a So Sketchy Sista.

Nicole Nowasad

Nicole's Blog: Just Nick

My name is Nicole Nowosad. I lam 35 years old, and live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with my husband Ian, and our 2 busy boys Noah and Lucas, and our 3.5 month old daughter. Our children are the main topics of my pages, and I believe that even boy pages can be pink! I started scrapbooking in 1999, but didn't get really serious about it until 2002 when our first son was born. I like to try all different things on my pages, but the one consistent is stitching. I always seek out new inspiration in art, advertising and especially sketches. I look forward to being a So Sketchy Sista for the next six months and sharing my pages with all of you!

My 3 So Sketchy Card Sistas....

Tina Quintas

Tina's Blog: sow.sprout.bloom

My name is Tina. I currently live in Killeen, Texas with my husband of 10 years & my 2 children. Before my kids I was a social worker, but now I am a stay at home-schooling mom. When I have free time, I LOVE to create with paper, primarily cards. My husband comes from a big family, so there's always need for some sort of card. I'm so excited to be a Sista!!!

Tracy Schultz

Tracy's Blog: Who Is Tracy?

My name is Tracy Schultz and I live in Hamburg, New York (a suburb of Buffalo). I'm an IT specialist by day and crafter by night. If I'm not making cards, learning how to scrapbook, or making a pair of earrings, then you can usually find me on the volleyball court or in my gardens. Gardening is just like crafting, only with a much larger canvas. I've been married to my husband for three wonderful years. We have one pet cockatiel named Kiwi and one dozen angry fish.

Jessica Kruegel

Jess' Blog: My Sanity Depends on Stamping

My name is Jessica and I live in New Jersey with my wonderful husband of eight years, Eric, and our amazing four year-old daughter, Amanda. I {LOVE} stamping and scrapbooking and find myself creating more often the past few years, since our daughter was born. She is the inspiration for my projects. I find stamping and scrapbooking to be a wonderful creative outlet from the hustle and bustle of work and home demands. I {SO} enjoy the So Sketchy site and creating from Ally's sketches. Thank you for welcoming me into this lovely team.

Congrats ladies! I'm sure the So Sketchy readers can't wait to see all your creations!
