Tonya was one of the very first So Sketchy! Sistas and I just adore her use of embellishments in her work! I love that she has taken the sketch and given it a turn 90 degrees. Super cute page Tonya!

June Sponsor Sketch - Ormolu

For the month of June, we had our amazing sponsor Ormolu provide all the So Sketchy! Sista's with some of their beautiful products to use. Since the girls didn't get them soon enough to share their creations last month, we're going to share some of them today!

This is the sketch that I designed especially to showcase our Ormolu creations....

June Sketch: 12x12

Another fun sketch for a single photo....

Mud Surfing
by Tonya

I love Tonya's interpretation of this sketch! I love the fun wave shapes she's mimicked from the sketch's flower design and to tie the water theme back to her page. Did you notice, Tonya even wrote her journaling around the waves shapes! Very cool! Fabulous page Tonya!

My Girl Tila
by Cherie

Cherie took the sketch and flipped it from the right to the left of her page. An easy way to make a sketch design your own! I love her simple title treatment on the clear bracket shape too! Super cute page about your fur-baby Cherie!

June Sketch: 24x12

Here's a fun 2 page sketch that I loved...

Hello Kitty
by Tonya

I love all the fun papers that Tonya has used to create the base design for her sweet photos here. She even used some fun stitched on pleated paper for added texture. Gorgeous use of the sketch Tonya!

Don't forget to send in your application for the next So Sketchy Sista call. Today is the deadline for your applications! Good luck! Emails will be going out to the new designers tomorrow!

June Sketch: 8.5x11

Here's another sketch that I loved since I love to use wallet photos a lot to scrap!

Our Blessing
by Jana P.

Jana started off by rotating the sketch. She also used the circle aspect of the sketch and changed it up a bit to create her pearl dotted heart shape. I love that she including so many of her amazing ultrasound photos on just one page. Stunning page Jana!

ma shoon ga!
by Abbie

Abbie took one row of the triple wallet photos and replaced it with her torn piece of kraft cardstock from the original sketch. I love that she's taken the large circle from the sketch and used more mini circles throughout her page to unify her design. Fabulous page Abbie!

The Guys * The Girls
by Tonya

Tonya has altered the sketch a bit to fit two larger photos instead of the two strips of mini photos. I love that's also broken up her title across her page and added such wonderful photos of her family. Stunning page Tonya!

May Sketch: 8.5x11

Here is May's last sketch of the month.....

Her First Dress
by Nicole

Nicole has taken the 8.5x11 sketch and stretched it out to fit her 12x12 page. I love all the layers of different edges papers she's used to reach her final design. Simply adorable Nicole!

Whee...
by Tonya

Tonya has taken the 3 smaller photos from the sketch and enlarged them to suit her photo sizes. I love all the fun and bubbly colours she's used on her cute page. Fabulous layout Tonya!

Stay tuned tomorrow for Free Downloads of all the May sketches!

May Sketch: 12x12

A layout with lots of layers today....

Easter Basket
by Tonya

I love all the fun coloured papers that Tonya use to build her layered page with. Her cute little snail, fishy and polka dotted egg add such a cute bit of whimsy to her page. Super cute page Tonya!

May Sketch: 12x12

A really simple 12x12 sketch for you today....

Exquisite
by Tonya

For this pretty layout, Tonya has taken the photo spaces from the sketch and melted them into two. She has simplified her design and decided to focus on her photos instead of including any journaling. I love that she used the pretty vine ribbon as her strip element from the sketch. Wonderful page Tonya!

Sneaking Kisses
by Cherie

For this super cute page by Cherie, she's taken the journaling aspect of the sketch and pushed it up. Like Tonya, she has also combined the 4 photos from the sketch design and made it 2 to accommodate her larger sized photos. Gorgeous page Cherie!

May Sketch: 8.5x11

Here's your first official sketch for the month of May...

Spring is Here
by Tonya

This gorgeous page is by Tonya! I love her large flourish to imitate the flourish in the sketch. I also love the way she's taken the calendar ticket from Creative Chaos and made it peek-a-boo from above her main page element. Glorious spring page Tonya!

Tomorrow's National Scrapbooking Day and I have some special for you! Stay tuned tomorrow for some fun links, giveaway links and a prize giveaway from me!

April Sketch: 12x12

A fun 12x12 sketch filled with with lots of patches....

Beautiful Eyes
by Kristii

Kristii has created this beautiful page using all the elements of the design. To make room for her journaling, she's placed it on some of the back ground patches. She moved her photo to the opposite of the focal area of the sketch sketch to make room for her beautiful title element, the rose. Stunning page Kristii!

What Makes Me Laugh; This Face
by Tonya

Tonya has incorporated all kinds of fun patches of patterned papers to her design. She's also used one of the Creative Chaos' journaling jotters as part of her title. To break up all the straight lines of the sketch, Tonya has used a fun circle embellishment to write on her journaling. A super fun page Tonya!

April Sketch: 8.5x11

Here's a simple 2 photo sketch for you 8.5x11 page lovers...

Ivy Ruth
by Tonya

For her page, Tonya flipped the sketch and used the double photo space for her focal photo. She also created a mat to ground her main focus on her 12x12 page. I just love all the frilly, girlie goodness of this sweet page! Gorgeous page Tonya!

Little Diva
by Cherie

I love how Cherie has taken the circle from the sketch and used the flower shape instead... it just goes too well with her niece's cute photos! Cherie's taken the strip of patterned paper and scallop and spread it across her layout to take your eye in and out of her page. Super cute page Cherie!

{first}
by Jana P.

Jana has taken the entire 8.5x11 sketch and miniaturized it and plunked it down off center on her 8.5x11 page. She also taken the strip of patterned paper and the scalloped detail right across her center point. Fabulous and fun page Jana!

Jana has used one of the Creative Chaos journaling dots for her journaling and also one of the kraft tags to document her photo details on. Love that scalloped edge to match the scalloped details on her page.

March Sketch: 12 x 12

A double circle sketch for you today.....

Sweet
by Tonya

Tonya has used all the elements of the sketch to her page. She's even drawn some attention to her title with her super cute fabric and felt cupcake and frame. Adorable page Tonya!

March Sketch: 12 x 12

A rather "round" sketch for you today....

Ride Around the Block
by Jana P.

Jana has used all the multiple circles on the sketch to load her page full of sweet photos of her kids! She's taken the space left for her title and used it for her space for journaling. Great use of the sketch Jana! Love all the photos!

Bath Buds
by Abbie

For Abbie, she minimized the amount of circles on the sketch as to not overwhelm her sweet photos. She literally taken the round shapes from the sketch and mimicked the bubbles from her photos. Super cute page Abbie!

Hunting Eggs
by Tonya

Tonya has also taken the hint from the circles in the sketch and made her page all about something "round"; eggs! Clever designers, huh? I love her use of Spring colours too! Fabulous page Tonya!
