Cherie used all the elements of sketch and added the framed blue and gingham circle to draw focus to her nephew's sweet photo. She also used all the fun brads to draw your eye to the fun little circles at the top of her page! Super cute page Cherie!

Cherie has also included a Creative Chaos ticket as part of her journaling to record the date of her cute photo.

For her page. Nicole used the sketch and placed her design within the borders of her 12x12 page. She's used some fun flower shapes as her small circle designs and removed the large circle element to have her focal photo of her newest family member become the rest place for your eyes. Wendy has taken the whole sketch and condensed it into her single page. She's maximized the size of title semi-circle so she use the fun paper "Earth" on her design.

Wendy has also used one of the Creative Chaos labels to document her date and time of the event. Great use of the simple and fun labels!

For this creative page, Nicole took the main design of the sketch but rotated the photo images so she could could showcase her cutie-pa-tootie son! Love the end result with dotted papers and the bright green papers!

Nicole used some of Creative Chaos' cute little journaling jotters on her page. She use on for her journaling and the second she she tucked underneath her photo on the right to reveal the saying "Observed". Create use of the fun things from Creative Chaos Nicole!

A very funky sketch for you today.....

Beach Day

Abbie saw some wave shapes within the sketch detail so she took that one step further and created a beach inspired page! She used one Creative Chaos journaling jotters and a smaller photo to make up the lower photo space from the sketch... very creative! Wonderful page Abbie!

A note from Abbie: Holy Smokes, I love these journal tags! Immediately when I opened them up I was impressed by their quality! They are so thick and sturdy. And when I wrote on them my ink didn't smudge or bleed at all. LOVE them! Anyway, for this sketch, I didn't have 2 4x6 pictures that I wanted to use, so in place of one of the pictures I put a smaller picture and one of these cute journal tags! Love how it turned out!!

I'd like to introduce you to Virginie Wurtz, our So Sketchy! Guest Designer for April.

Hello everyone! My name is Virginie Wurtz aka Giniew, I'm really excited to be the So Sketchy guest designer of the month. I live in North of France, near Lille and I am a scrapbook addict for 3 years now. Most of my inspiration is from my two lovely sons: Nathanaël (6 years old) and Gabriel (3 years old). I'm a proud DT member of a little shop: Scrapadabra and I also design for a few month for a french manufacturer : Color Conspiracy and another one french manufacturer: Sultane. I also create for a color challenge blog : Carnet de couleurs.

I love how Cherie has taken the circle from the sketch and used the flower shape instead... it just goes too well with her niece's cute photos! Cherie's taken the strip of patterned paper and scallop and spread it across her layout to take your eye in and out of her page. Super cute page Cherie!
