To participate in our August Contest:

Create a page or card using any of the sketches showcased this month; August.

Please reduce the size of your image to below 150kB. Please name your sketch photo like this: "title_by_your name.jpg" (ie: hi_card_ by_allison.jpg)
Please include your name and title of your creation in your email. Please also identify what sketch number(s) you used for your creations.
Please put "August Sketch Contest" in your subject line.
Please email your submissions to: sosketchy@live.com
You can enter the contest as many times as you wish.

PLUS.... you must have commented on at least 3 posts during the month to be eligible.

AUGUST CONTEST DUE DATE: September 4th.

For Jess' awesome summer themed card, I love that she used a stamp for the circle aspect of her card! And if you look closely (click the image), you can see she used some simple embossing for her long rectangular shape. Such a great summer card Jess!

For this beautiful page by Aphra, she has removed one of the photo's from the sketch and shifted the layout base to compliment her wonderful photos. I love the row of die cut butterflies that she used from our sponsor's kit this month, The Paper Passion. A beautiful page Aphra!

I love the subject that Zoe chose to scrap about using this sketch... climbing walls; perfect for the placement of all the photos in the sketch. I love the clock images she has used to mimic the flourish in the design. A super fun page Zoe!
